My cute little guys just hanging out - aren't they cute?!
Garrett turned four months! I can't believe his is that big already. He loves sucking on his fingers and thumbs and even tries to when he has his binki or is nursing (which is interesting). I love this picture of him in his towel just after his bath, chowing on his hands. He is such a good baby -- I just love him!!
This picture is what Russ found when he went to get Garrett up from his nap -- to his surprise. Garrett's room was so hot that day that he kept waking up soaking wet. The solution - strip him down! I also tried a little experiment with his hair to see if the gel would hold in spikes, which it did. So, Russ found his little guy almost naked and with crazy looking hair and he had to take a picture. I hope Garrett won't hold it against me someday!!
We went through a bit of a hard time getting Cole to sleep in his big bed, or "baseball bed" as he calls it, after we moved. It took a few weeks of trying new things, but he is finally sleeping really well in his bed. We got so desperate that we bribed him with M&Ms (his favorite treat) and today when he got up from his nap the first thing he said was, "I want my three M&Ms". I couldn't help but laugh! I think it's a great trade - Cole sleeping without a fight for a few moments of chocolate enjoyment and I have a few moments to myself (if Garrett is asleep that is). Cole will read books until he falls asleep and sometimes that happens when he is on the floor or wearing his hat or sometimes he is even on his bed. He also sings to himself while he is winding down. He has a crush on our neighbor's little girl and I heard him singing "Anna's World" to the tune of Elmo's world. He is such a fun little guy!

Katrina...I love the pictures of Cole sleeping wherever. Anthony went through that too and now he sleeps in his bed :). So cute! Garrett has gotten so big and I haven't even gotten to meet him :(. I hopt that day comes soon.
Your little guys are so cute!! I can't believe how big Garrett is getting. So fun! I'm so glad that you guys are out of the flooded areas. I have been thinking of you and hoping that all is well in Iowa!
I love sleeping photos. They are some of the cutest photos of kids. They can sleep anywhere, anytime they feel the need. I sure wish that was a quality I still had! It's such a big step having Cole sleep in his own bed. Kaleb still has to fall asleep with the lights on and he just turned 10. You do whatever it takes you know. As a Mom, I'm certainly not against bribery, because really it works, and it's usually a great payoff. You've got to love Garrett's hair, he's adorable!
Hi Katrina! I came across your blog on Jo and Jeffs blog! You have a very cute little family! Drop me a line sometime!

your boys are so cute--we miss you guys!!!
Katrina your little boys are so sweet. That little Garrett is a super cutie. I can't wait until he is old enough to do the puppy dog eyes for you. Glad you guys are doing well and flood free.
Hey guys!
We miss you. I tagged you so check out our blog if you want to play along.
Katrina and Russ..
Yes, we are still alive but we don't have the internet hooked up at our house yet so we check emails and such except maybe once a week at my parents. Next week we should be rolling though. But You guys look great! We miss you. Even living in Utah we are lonely without having friends to hang out with just a couple doors away. Sorry to hear about all the floods and the crazy clouds!! It reminds me of our first year in Virginia when we were evacuated because of Gaston, I thought it was just Virginia, but maybe it's just you. J/K :) Jared will call Russ soon.
