I thought I would post a few pictures of the flood and the damage that was done. Here is a street not far from our house -- obviously the road was closed and has been for a few weeks. Businesses, homes and everything in the waters' path were destroyed.
We ate at this restaurant just the week before - so much for our newly found Mexican place. While we were eating there Cole yelled, "I like tortillas" really loud and we had several of the Mexican waiters give us strange looks. I sure hope they are able to get it cleaned up so we can make more embarassing memories there.
Here is a picture from our back desk of the clouds that started to funnell -- we were nervous that a tornado was going hit at any minute. Dorthy, we aren't in Virginia anymore! I'm not sure what is worse - tornados or hurricanes.

Come back to the west where you only have to worry about too little of water :)....not hurricanes, floods or tornadoes!! I'm glad to hear you are all okay.
So glad you guys are safe. We pray for all those in the floods every day. It is just so sad to see so much lost. Thanks for posting photos and staying in touch so we know you're doing ok.
I'm glad that you guys are safe and I don't blame you for not liking Tornadoes they scare the crap out of me. I hope the city gets back on its feet soon. Take Care.
My, you guys sure know how to find the good weather, don't you? :) I am glad that you guys are all right! The pictures you posted above of the boys are super cute! I love the pics of Garrett, and the one of Cole asleep is so funny! It would always amaze me the places Joshua would fall asleep when he first started sleeping in his big bed. It never looked very comfortable to me!
