INDIANAPOLIS...the next stop on our adventure.
Russ just signed his contract in Indy, so it's official.
We found a house and put in an offer today.
I guess we get to be "real people" now with a mortgage, student loan payments, and a job with a paycheck.
Ironically the only time I had been to Indy was for my marathon last November. Russ and I commented as we were leaving, "This is a great city. It would be fun to come and visit sometime." I'm sure the Lord got a little chuckle. Little did we know...
We never dreamed we would be moving farther East after orthodontic residency, but are excited for the next chapter in our lives. Who knows, Russ might even become a Colts fan (anything to get him to stop cheering for the Cowboys!!).
P.S. - I am SO proud of Russ and his dedication in getting us through dental school, ortho residency, and to provide our family with a great future. He just found out today that he passed his ortho boards. He has so much to be proud of - graduating number one from dental school, getting into a great orthodontic program, and landing a great job. I love you, Russ, and am so proud of you!!

Did you buy a practice or get a job? I'm so surprised you're not headed back west -but this sounds like a really exciting new adventure. Congratulations on your accomplishment and great success to your future!
I hope you know that Grandpa P is really Aunt Karen to you!
We are moving to Columbus mid July so we will only be 316 miles or 4 hours away! Good luck in your move!
Congratulations Russ! We hope you really enjoy Indy and everything goes smoothly!
Awesome! So happy for you! My parents live in Columbus. It's only 2 or 2 1/2 hours away. We could hang out! Miss you tons.
Congrats!! I've been wondering where y'all were headed to next. I can't believe it's already been two years since the guys graduated dental school. Good luck with your move and new job!
Wow! Congrats! Mike and I are so happy for you. You've both worked so hard to get where you are. Coming from experience, it really is nice to say goodbye to those school years (although it is bittersweet!). Good luck!
CONGRATS CONGRATS!!! That is way exciting you will have to post some picks of the new house.
Congratulations! Those are huge milestones:) Can't wait to see your house and hear about all of your adventures settling into "real life". Best of luck with the move and all of the "joys" that come with a new practice.
CONGRATS!!!! I actually grew up in Indiana (I think the Huntington Ward will be in your stake--it's where I grew up=)
